Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. seeks a Major Projects Sales Representative to drive orders growth in building automation.

You will identify opportunities, develop relationships with general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers, and shepherd deals from scoping to close. You will report to the Sr Sales Manager, work remotely with up to 50% travel across the Northeast/New England market, and contribute to Honeywell's growth with a strong focus on customer outcomes

Qualifications

• 6+ years of sales experience in Building Automation or Building Technology.
• Valid Class Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel at least 50%.

Responsibilities

• Drive orders growth within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Create strategic relationships with general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers (master purchasing agreements, terms, and partnerships).
• Collaborate with Vertical Account Managers to drive growth on specific opportunities.
• Provide an accurate weekly forecast for orders in Salesforce, including Install and Service lines.
• Consistently meet the orders forecast on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Establish professional relationships with client decision-makers.
• Create a robust pipeline of major pursuits within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goals.
• Major Market territory plan review Bi-Annually (White Space, Relationship map, Strategy focused).
• Win new customer logos and create a pipeline of targets.
• Meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
