Electronic Power Design, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

This technical role leads troubleshooting, coordinates preventive maintenance, mentors technicians, and drives improvements to equipment uptime. You will work with PLCs, laser cutting systems, presses, and automation across our plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of PLC controls, automation systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while mentoring and supporting other technicians.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-controlled machinery, automation systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform advanced maintenance on laser cutting systems, punch machines, press brakes, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions that improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians while sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Assist with assigning daily maintenance priorities and supporting departmental objectives.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning throughout the maintenance team.
• Support a culture focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
