Job summary

OBE is seeking an Industrial Process Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install production equipment in our Texas facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborates with operations teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable equipment performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing; aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, industrial automation, and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical drawings.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
Wire motors, motor starters, relays, VFDs, and other electrical components.
Perform basic plumbing and fabrication work, including oxy/acetylene torches and plasma cutters.
Maintain maintenance records and work safely at all times.
All other duties as assigned.
