Job summary

Fortune 500 EPC company in Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot equipment and keep manufacturing running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, diagnose electrical issues, and support installations with strong PLC, CNC, and VFD skills.

This hands-on role requires the ability to read schematics and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• 3+ years CNC machine repair experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, instrumentation drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize repairs, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to work overtime and accommodate night‑shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, facility equipment, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues involving 480V, 208V, 120V, and 24VDC systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, motor starters, and VFDs.
• Repair and maintain CNC machinery and other industrial equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and replace defective machine components.
• Assist with new equipment installations, including conduit and wiring.
• Complete maintenance work orders, service records, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Follow established safety procedures and support continuous improvement efforts.
