Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and make-ready tasks on on-site properties. You will diagnose issues, repair according to policy and code, and support preventive maintenance across the community.

Role involves completing inspections, managing vendor coordination, and maintaining safety standards. A valid driver’s license and required certifications are essential, with on-site duties and potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for service technicians.
Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

Diagnose defects or problems from resident maintenance requests and perform repairs per policies and code requirements.
Complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
Access materials and manage inventory, tracking usage and notifying leadership when re-orders are needed.
Document service requests accurately and promptly for record-keeping and tracking.
Assist in grounds and amenity maintenance, including cleaning, painting, and safe operation of tools.
