Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to uphold the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality across grounds and common areas. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks to prepare units for new residents.

This on-site role requires hands-on skills with appliances, electrical, drywall, and painting, with a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-property vehicles (golf carts).
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsabilités

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing by performing pre-move-in inspections and punch lists.
• Track materials, inventory, and reorder needs with maintenance team.
• Document service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting.
• Assist cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
