Job summary

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. is seeking a skilled nightshift Maintenance Technician in Lakeland, FL. The role requires hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of beverage production equipment, with expertise in electrical and PLC systems.

You will work on optimizing uptime and equipment reliability, while adhering to GMP, SQF, and safety policies. Starting pay is $36.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Read technical manuals, safety regulations, and operating instructions.
• Experience with industrial automation systems and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Mathematical calculations including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime.
• Technical certificate or diploma in a related field preferred.
• Experience with Krones, KHS, or US Bottlers equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP, SQF, and food safety standards; wear PPE.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on beverage production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and PLC systems.
• Respond to production line stoppages and coordinate repairs.
• Apply root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Inspect, repair, and replace machinery components as needed.
• Use predictive maintenance tools to identify potential failures.
• Operate and test repaired machinery to verify performance.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and cleaning procedures.
• Serve as SME for at least one production system and drive improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production interruptions.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
