Job summary
Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to service and maintain apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances, while mentoring junior technicians and leading preventative maintenance programs.
Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call rotation and opportunities for career growth through our Live It culture and career-path programs.
Qualifications
- HVAC certification and valid driver's license.
- Minimum 3 years in apartment maintenance or skilled trades.
- Supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure all service requests are completed to Hawthorne standards.
- Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status for move-ins.
- Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
- Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
- Perform building and common area upkeep daily; keep grounds neat.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
- Maintain shop appearance and assist with stock inventory.
- Participate in on-call rotation and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
- Engage with residents in a friendly, professional manner.
