Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support apartment communities with complex work orders and preventative maintenance. You will mentor junior technicians, handle HVAC-related tasks, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment for residents.

The role requires HVAC certification, experience in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and prior leadership as a supervisor or lead tech. A valid driver’s license and EPA/CPO credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience strongly preferred.
• EPA/HVAC certification and CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure Hawthorne standards are met.
• Assist with pool maintenance and general building/grounds upkeep.
