Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our service team. You will handle complex maintenance tasks, mentor junior techs, and lead preventative maintenance efforts across apartment communities.

The role requires HVAC certification, plus experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair, with prior supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of apartment maintenance or skilled trades experience.
• HVAC certification required; EPA certification preferred.
• Supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status per company standards.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the maintenance team.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain building and grounds; keep common areas clean and orderly.
• Promote good relations with residents and staff; embody Live It culture.
