Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to service a premier apartment community. This role handles complex work orders, mentors junior techs, and helps lead preventative maintenance efforts, requiring HVAC certification and experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in property maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and EPA HVA/CPO credentials.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical. Supervisory experience preferred.
• HVAC certification required; EPA/HVAC and CPO certifications listed as prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status per company standards.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Lead and mentor maintenance team; provide on-call availability as scheduled.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and complete special projects as needed.
