Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for Fairlawn Estates at the T in Mattapan, MA, a 347-unit affordable community. In this role you will perform maintenance in rental units, common areas, offices, grounds and parking lots, and you will lead and train other maintenance technicians.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Must have mobile smart phone and be reimbursed monthly.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs across appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Lead and train other maintenance technicians.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market-ready.
• Assist in leading preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, including snow removal and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours as scheduled.
