Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related areas. The role reports to the Maintenance Team Supervisor and supports multiple properties in the region.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and 6+ years of related experience, with CAMT and Greenlight Training preferred. Compensation ranges from $30.00–$31.00 per hour, with on-call duties and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Performs all clean out and demo work for turnover related to make-ready status.
• Carries out general carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, door/lock repair, tile repair.
• Schedules and coordinates exterior siding repairs and emergency roof repairs.
• Performs minor repairs to HVAC units and related systems.
• Oversees drywall repairs, painting, and cleaning of common areas.
• Maintains inventory and purchases of maintenance supplies; prepares purchase orders and contracts.
