Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Colonial Estates in Springfield, MA. The role covers skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry, with on-call responsibilities and driving to pick up supplies.

A high school diploma or GED is required, 3–5 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation starts at $27.19–$28.00 per hour, with full benefits including health, retirement, life insurance, and EAP.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CAMT certification preferred; Greenlight Maintenance Learning Plan is a plus.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform turnover-related clean out and demo to ensure make-ready status.
• Carry out general carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, cabinet/ countertop replacement, window/door repair.
• Patch drywall, paint, replace cover plates, and clean common areas.
