Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants seeks a Maintenance Technician III to serve as the advanced technical leader on the property in Newport News, VA. You diagnose complex system issues, lead larger repair projects, and mentor junior technicians to elevate team performance.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, manage full turns, coordinate vendors, and supervise on-call service while ensuring safety and quality. A strong background in multifamily maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily settings.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more major trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Certifications listed under Certifications section are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Lead full turns and larger renovation or repair projects.
• Perform advanced panel, breaker, motor, and fixture replacements with code.
• Inspect mechanical systems and recommend preventative solutions.
• Coordinate vendors for specialized work and manage cost control.
• Lead emergency response and on-call service.
• Mentor Technician I and II team members.
