Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community's physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and completing service requests promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7 years of maintenance experience or 4 years with EPA 608 Universal.
• HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair or Carpentry certs/designations.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversees one or more assets and supervises maintenance staff and contractors.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction with responsive, professional service.
• Work on a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
