Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community’s physical condition and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests to meet resident expectations.

The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, coordinating with contractors, and following safety policies. A customer-focused mindset and reliable on-call availability are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years in maintenance experience.
• Certifications in region (EPA 608, boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) within 9–12 months of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs; supervise contractors on projects.
• Ensure timely completion of resident service requests and maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety policies and contribute to a positive resident experience.
