Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of our community and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle service requests promptly.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC and electrical systems, following safety policies, and providing courteous, timely support. You will participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure around-the-clock maintenance coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience is required.
• Basic troubleshooting skills are necessary.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or carpentry is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and property orderliness, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
