The role focuses on diagnosing complex work orders, mentoring junior techs, and leading preventative maintenance, with HVAC certification required and experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

The position emphasizes building and grounds upkeep, on-call rotations, and leadership responsibilities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' apartment maintenance or skilled trade experience.
• Supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license; EPA/HVAC certification; CPO certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in and per company standard.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and company policy and standards.
• Complete special projects as needed.
