Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our Greensboro community. You will diagnose and repair complex systems, mentor junior technicians, and lead preventative maintenance efforts to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include restoring vacant apartments for move-ins, assisting with pool maintenance, and upholding Hawthorne standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience strongly preferred.
• EPA/ HVAC Certification, CPO Certification, and Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide leadership to the maintenance team.
• Complete preventative maintenance per company policy and standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments for move-ins; assist with pool maintenance as needed.
• Maintain building and grounds daily and ensure a clean, safe community.
