Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and respond to service requests.
• Ability to follow policies and read SDS and safety guidelines.
• Good communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances and related systems.
• Complete service requests timely while meeting company standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready and perform turnkey work as needed.
• Conduct apartment preventative maintenance and assist in painting.
• Maintain safety culture and follow AvalonBay safety policies.
• Perform hot works within company standards.
