Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC repair, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work on-call in rotation with the team.
• Ability to read and follow policies and procedures including safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and safety systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs turnkey maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintains safety culture and follows AvalonBay policies.
