bioMérieux SA in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to ensure optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment. This role demands advanced troubleshooting, complex repairs, and mentoring of entry‑level technicians.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated systems, root‑cause analysis, continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of related experience with intermediate to advanced-level troubleshooting, schematic/print reading, and mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic and controls experience.
• 3+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
• Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
