Job summary

bioMérieux in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Tech 3 for night shift to sustain and optimize manufacturing equipment and utilities. You will perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and automated systems, mentor junior technicians, and participate in continuous improvement while complying with FDA-regulated standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience with intermediate to advanced troubleshooting, schematic and print reading, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred with electro‑mechanical, high‑speed manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience in a cGMP/Regulated environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently
• Contribute to root‑cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry‑level technicians
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols
• Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Perform other duties as assigned.
