Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician in Washington, DC area to address resident service requests and perform diverse hands-on maintenance tasks. The role includes drywall specialization for common areas and occupied homes with emphasis on high-quality finishes.

The candidate should have hands-on experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), a high school diploma, and EPA 608 certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC
• High School diploma or equivalent
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Strong communication in English, both oral and written

Responsibilities

• Address resident service requests promptly
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and more
• Prepare market-ready apartments and maintain community grounds
• Conduct regular community inspections to identify repairs or replacements
• In the absence of the Service Manager, assume managerial responsibilities
• Specialized drywall work focusing on common areas and occupied residences
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to minimize resident disruption
