Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to address resident service requests, perform hands-on maintenance, and ensure market-ready apartments in Washington, DC. The role may include supervising the maintenance team in the Service Manager's absence and assisting with inventory and daily operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC, a valid driver's license, strong English communication, and EPA 608 certification.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC areas.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with federal/state apartment housing laws is preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Type I/II or Universal certification within 90 days if required.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service requests promptly.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Prepare market-ready apartments and maintain community grounds.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify repairs or replacements.
• Take on managerial tasks in the absence of the Service Manager.
