Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address resident service requests, perform diverse maintenance tasks, and ensure market-ready apartments. You’ll conduct preventative maintenance, care for grounds and common areas, and report concerns promptly.

The role requires troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues; a High School diploma is required along with knowledge of housing laws.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances and HVAC (if applicable).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to work weekends and on-call hours.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active tasks.
• Smartphone use and compliance with security systems.

Responsibilities

• Promptly addressing resident service requests.
• Performing hands‑on maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and more.
• Preparing market‑ready apartments and maintaining community grounds.
• Conducting regular community inspections to identify repairs or replacements.
