Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This on-site role includes handling work orders, make-ready processes, and routine upkeep to support a high-quality resident experience.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks and repair work.
• Ability to diagnose and fix issues in common building systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance following safety standards.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and manages punch lists.
• Tracks inventory and sources materials through the maintenance department.
• Documents service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; conducts cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing before replacing parts when feasible.
