Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. This role supports maintenance tasks across buildings, grounds, and amenities in a dynamic residential setting.

The position requires completing work orders, preparing units for leasing, managing inventory, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Willingness to comply with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance.
• Conducts make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Tracks materials, OA inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is required.
• Documents service work accurately and on time.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assists in cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
