Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to sustain equipment uptime through advanced troubleshooting and repairs across multiple bottling lines.

The role requires coordinating with maintenance staff and Operators to minimize downtime and improve reliability. You will champion best practices, lead preventative and predictive maintenance, and train other team members on bottling equipment areas such as blow molders, fillers, labelers, conveyors, and palletizers.

Qualifications

• 6 Years – Experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
• 6 Years – Experience in Position
• 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects
• Experience reading schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
• Experience with tools and equipment used in packaging/ Beverages production
• Strong communication across departments; training capability
• Preferred: 10+ years in maintenance manufacturing
• Preferred: experience with packaging/bottling equipment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and GMP standards plant-wide
• Lead and train Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures
• Execute projects involving continuous improvement and upgrades
• Perform rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtime and analyze root causes
• Collaborate with other senior technicians on cross-functional issues
• Use software systems to analyze issues and drive throughput
• Overhaul equipment during planned downtime and document SOPs
• Develop procedures for bottling production areas including blow molding, filling, labeling, and case packing
• Transfer knowledge and mentor team members
