Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC in New Orleans seeks a Sr. Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment uptime in a fast-paced beverage plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and share knowledge across the maintenance team.

You will lead preventative programs, participate in continuous improvement, and develop procedures for bottling lines, blow molding, filling, and labeling. Strong mechanical skills and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 Years - Experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
• 6 Years - Experience in Position
• 4 Years - Experience managing people/projects
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments and levels of the organization
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members
• Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
• Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools
• Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges
• Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine center

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and GMP standards plant-wide
• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on procedures
• Develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement
• Rapid identification of machine problems and root-cause analysis
• Define requirements and lead overhaul to like-new status during downtime
• Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members on bottling production areas
