Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical or mechanical maintenance or 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or mechanical repair.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, and related facility systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to document and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Communicate facility and safety issues to Facilities Management and coordinate with internal customers and vendors.
• Assist in spare parts management to minimize equipment downtime.
• Provide support for electrical distribution, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, fire and life safety systems.
• Enter, prioritize and close work orders in the CMMS system.
• Perform preventive and demand maintenance and document activities.
