bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations in Downers Grove, IL. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires troubleshooting, documenting activities, and collaborating with the maintenance team to drive continuous improvement and high uptime in a GMP-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment issues.
• Execute repairs in accordance with safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Document maintenance activities accurately within required systems and records.
• Perform inventory checks and assist with spare parts management.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members and manufacturing personnel to resolve technical issues.
