Job summary

Pressed Cafe is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep our Massachusetts and New Hampshire restaurants running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with the Facilities Manager and restaurant teams to troubleshoot equipment, chase leaks, and perform preventative maintenance across locations.

This role requires a hands-on approach, travel between sites, a 2 PM–11 PM shift, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities or restaurant maintenance.
• Comfort with commercial cooking equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 2 PM–11 PM shift with rotating on‑call.
• Physically able to lift and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across locations (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry).
• Run inspections and flag deficiencies before problems arise.
• Troubleshoot failures and complete timely fixes.
• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work within qualifications.
• Repair doors, lighting, and building components; coordinate with teams.
• Respond to emergencies and schedule visits to minimize downtime.
