Job summary

Workstream is seeking a dependable Facilities and Maintenance Specialist to keep restaurant equipment and the facility operating at a high standard. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and take ownership of maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for team members and guests.

The role emphasizes organization, hands-on repairs, and coordinating with management to schedule outside vendor support when needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic repair knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
• Willing to troubleshoot and identify problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and facility items.
• Identify maintenance concerns early and help prevent equipment failures and costly repairs.
• Perform minor repairs when appropriate and within your skill level.
• Maintain an organized parts, tools, and maintenance supply area.
• Track replacement parts and supplies and communicate when items need to be reordered.
• Assist with basic maintenance involving doors, fixtures, shelving, plumbing, equipment, furniture, and other facility needs.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and identify items needing attention.
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance and completed repairs.
• Coordinate with restaurant leadership when an outside vendor or professional technician is needed.
• Help ensure the restaurant remains clean, safe, functional, and well maintained for our Team Members and guests.
