Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Exton, PA seeks a Lead Technician III Maintenance for 2nd shift (3pm ET - 11pm ET). You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing tooling and facilities, and coordinate electrical projects to keep operations compliant and safe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical, Electronics/PLC.
• Medical device manufacturing preferred.
• GMP knowledge desired.
• Proficient data/voice cabling installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Proficient industrial electric service installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration related testing/recovery/charging equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of VOM, amperage meters, Megger & related electrical testing equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of scope & usage of General Work Permitting Procedures & Processes.
• Advanced knowledge of plumbing, & HVAC systems.
• Advanced knowledge of uninterrupted UPS power systems.
• Advanced knowledge of various power & hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, repair, and maintain manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures as necessary.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process problems with production staff.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering as required.
• Maintain plumbing, HVAC and electrical services for a safe facility.
• Maintain non-production equipment supporting production.
• Participate in On-Call Primary & Secondary rotations and use BAS system.
• Develop vendor relationships for parts and supplies at competitive pricing.
• Provide management with periodic reports and updates.
• Coordinate in-house electrical projects, supplies, maintenance and inspections.
