Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Exton, PA is seeking a Senior Technician Maintenance for 1st shift to support manufacturing and facility equipment uptime. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and maintain GMP and CMMS records to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience (medical device GMP preferred), knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related maintenance experience in manufacturing or GMP environments.
• Experience with HVAC, utilities, electrical systems, and basic instrument troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, repair, and maintain manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures as needed.
• Train assembly technicians on equipment operation.
• Complete Preventive Maintenance Logbooks and CMMS records (Faciliworks).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process problems with production staff.
• Assist with facility issues in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services.
• Maintain non-production equipment and spare parts inventory; produce reports.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
