Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot automated systems, and ensure equipment reliability in a highly automated facility for a major client.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with automation support teams, and uphold safety, quality, and uptime standards while building strong client relationships. The role requires 4+ years on automated conveyors/controls, PLCs, CMMS, and a strong background in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety norms.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical/electronic principles.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Capable of using statistical tools to track OEE/uptime.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve materials handling equipment and robotics.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Mentor technicians and plan emergency repairs.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations teams.
• Maintain safety procedures and a safe work environment.
