Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support automation in a major client facility. You will maintain robotic and material-handling systems, perform hands-on repairs, and contribute to performance improvements while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with the Client and Operations teams. Strong electrical/mechanical skills and familiarity with CMMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher education.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using hand tools (powered or non-powered).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
