Job summary

ResProp Management seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Melbourne, FL to lead service operations, repair appliances and systems, and ensure excellent resident service. You will train teammates, support the Property Manager, and help recruit maintenance staff.

The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and inventory management in a multi-family setting. The position requires extensive maintenance and management background, EPA certification, and the ability to work a rotating on-call

Qualifications

• 8+ years of general maintenance/repair experience; 3+ years in apartment industry.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required; CPO preferred.
• Trade skills include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, etc.
• Must have own tool kit and be tech-savvy with basic software.
• Must live within 30 minutes of property; dependable transportation; rotating on-call schedule.
• Must perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all service operations to achieve goals.
• Repair and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Maintain quality customer service for residents and applicants.
• Train maintenance team members and mentor staff.
• Assist Property Manager with performance reviews and hiring input.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise internal and vendor work; manage inventory and supplies.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety practices are followed.
