Job summary

ResProp Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our multifamily property team in Melbourne, FL. You will perform general maintenance, repairs and preventative work to keep common areas, pools, clubhouses and parking lots in top condition.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor, and ensuring safety while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of community.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely.
• Maintain and repair common areas to keep them clean, safe, and attractive.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve property value.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure readiness.
