Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff across multiple apartment properties. You will guide technicians and porters, ensure timely service, and maintain buildings to industry standards.

The role involves hands-on painting, cleaning, and coordinating make-readies for new move-ins. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and EPA 608 Universal certification within six months

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED; technical training certifications a plus.
• Three years of oversight of maintenance buildings and team members.
• Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
• EPA certification required within six months; Pennrose provides this certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative work each morning (30 minutes) as assigned, including training, updates, and scheduling.
• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and promptly using the company app.
• Lead the maintenance staff; assist in diagnosing problems and making replacements in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
• Keep buildings and common areas painted and cleaned per guidelines; in-house painting and cleaning required.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units within five business days of move-out.
• Complete monthly Preventive Maintenance per the policy.
• Prepare for inspections by Owner, Federal, State, and local authorities.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for a clean environment; remove snow as directed.
• Assist in developing the budget for repair and maintenance and capital expenses.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area; comply with SOPs and OSHA regulations.
