Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Specialist IV at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. This senior role covers restoration, renovation, maintenance of buildings, systems and equipment with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will lead projects, coordinate trades, maintain documentation, and support COOP/disaster recovery when needed. The position is not eligible for telework and requires a valid TX driver’s license and ability to work day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Vocational training in a designated trade is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance and repair on building systems.
• Lead projects and supervise others on repairs or renovations.
• Maintain records and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
