Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to diagnose and repair diesel and non-diesel trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking systems, and HVAC components. The role involves on-site and remote diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and occasional road service to keep equipment in safe, efficient operation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of technician experience or automotive training, with ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues on trucks and equipment with technical accuracy.
• Understand work order labor standards and estimate times.
• Experience or education in repairing Classes 1-8 vehicles and related systems.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Experience with both gasoline and diesel engines.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair multi-system issues on trucks and equipment.
• Perform basic inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct on-road and off-road service as needed.
• Use electronic diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions.
• Adhere to company training and safety requirements.
