Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis components, refuse bodies, and control systems.

The role involves on-site and road repairs, with safety as a priority and opportunities for training on new technologies. You will tackle diverse challenges daily, work with state-of-the-art equipment, and contribute to keeping our fleet reliable to support drivers on their routes.

Qualifikationen

• Diagnose multi-system issues and repair expertise across heavy- and light-duty equipment.
• Understand work order labor time standards and apply basic analysis.
• Experience with classes 1-8 vehicles, or graduate from automotive college/tech school soon.
• ASE Certifications (T1–T8) are a plus but not required; CDL is a plus but not required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and repair vehicle components and systems on-site and on-road.
• Perform chassis, refuse body, and hydraulic/electrical system work.
• Carry out basic engine, suspension, drivetrain, and HVAC repairs.
• Safely provide road service when needed and return equipment to operation.
