Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, and control systems. You will work on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers on their routes and servicing advanced vehicles.

The role requires knowledge of multiple systems, the ability to diagnose issues, and experience with light/medium/heavy duty trucks.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system vehicle issues with limited supervision.
• Understand and apply work order labor time standards.
• Experience with or graduates from automotive college/technical school within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Maintain knowledge and proficiency in vehicle components and systems for preventative and repair maintenance.
• Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, braking systems, engines, suspension and steering.
• Perform line welding and fabrication as needed.
• Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation.
