Job summary

Sun Technologies, Inc. in McDonough, GA seeks a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead a split-shift team overseeing PLC-controlled equipment and facility systems, ensuring uptime and safety.

You will drive reliability across conveyors, sorters, robotics, and RFID systems, manage PM/CBM programs, and push CI projects while coordinating with Operations, HR, EHS and Logistics. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of maintenance/reliability experience in high-throughput environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience supervising teams.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, robotics, conveyors, sorters, RFID readers, automation.
• Experience with CMMS, PM programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and technicians across a split shift to ensure full equipment coverage.
• Own PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, sorters, robotics, and RFID systems; drive rapid recovery from downtime.
• Oversee facility systems including HVAC, sprinklers, electrical, and kitchen equipment; manage building upgrades.
• Drive PM, CBM, RCA, and CI initiatives to permanently reduce recurring failures.
• Track KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, OEE) and report reliability performance to the Maintenance Director, NA.
