Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to be the technical SME for high equipment availability across material handling systems. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and optimize conveyors, robotics, ASRS, and related controls while coordinating with teams on preventive maintenance and safety.

You will train technicians, validate contractor work, and manage work orders using mobile apps, ensuring rapid, safe restoration of service and efficient plant operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years in mechanical or electrical maintenance in a distribution center
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent PC competency and ability to use handheld devices
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
• Blueprints/schematics reading
• Work order management
• Industrial Electrical, Controls and Electronics
• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs
• National Electrical Code (NEC) and MHE safety standards
• Automated material handling equipment or robotic maintenance

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical MHE (conveyors, sortation, robotics, ASRS)
• Control and adjust positioning accuracy and timing
• Control and adjust scanners, cameras, scales and printer applicators
• Control, reset, repair or replace adjustable components and wearing components
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components
• Troubleshoot PLC programs, components, field buses, and communications modules
• Configure and adjust PLC parameters and component setup
• Conduct maintenance and higher-level troubleshooting of any robot type
• Troubleshoot power distribution systems up to 480V
• Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
• Use handheld devices and asset management system to create/close Work Orders
• Develop and maintain positive relationships across organization
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash)
