Job summary

Tailored Management in McDonough, GA seeks an Associate Manager - Maintenance to lead a high‑uptime distribution center's maintenance of PLC-controlled automation, conveyors, robotics, and facility systems. You will manage supervisors and technicians, drive preventive and condition-based maintenance, and handle budgets, vendors, and CI initiatives with focus on MTTR, MTBF, and OEE improvements. This onsite role requires strong leadership, collaborative planning, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of maintenance/reliability in a high-throughput distribution/warehouse environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors/maintenance teams.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, robotics, conveyors, RFID readers, and automated sortation.
• Experience with preventive and CMMS-based maintenance programs.
• Proven track record improving KPIs like MTTR, MTBF, and OEE.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and technicians across a split shift, Mon–Fri operation.
• Own reliability of PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, sorters, robotics, and RFID systems.
• Direct troubleshooting to minimize downtime and protect throughput.
• Oversee facility systems: HVAC, fire sprinklers, water backflow prevention, roofing, electrical, plumbing.
• Plan and execute maintenance projects, upgrades, and budget management.
