Qualifications

• Six years’ experience as a mechanic with specialized skills in rolling stock repair and diesel engine maintenance.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required; further technical training is a plus.
• Preferred: ICS 100 & 200 certification and trade-specific licenses.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair and maintain machinery and equipment including engines, motors, hydraulics, and conveyors.
• Perform preventive maintenance following schedule and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain rolling stock equipment and related systems.
• May supervise a small team or shift and initiate purchase orders for parts.
